This OMR checking system works for 1 to 5 subjects. For every subject choose the Questions, the Total MCQ printed on the sheet and the marking (Negative / Positive); the total marks are calculated automatically. Works with the 4-option OMR sheet of up to 200 MCQs. Scans are processed in your browser and never uploaded.
Questions = how many questions are counted (to be attempted). Total MCQ = MCQs printed for that subject on the sheet. If both are equal, every MCQ counts. Answers attempted beyond Questions are not counted (no marks, no negative). From Q = the sheet question number where the subject starts (blank = right after the previous subject); e.g. a Chemistry-only test on Q51-95 → From Q 51. The key can use the sheet numbers (51, 52 ...) or start from 1.
Sheets that could not be read automatically
The scanner could not find all 4 black corner squares (cropped, folded, very faint or shadowed scan). Press "Mark corners" and click the 4 black squares (if a square is hidden or cut off, click where it should be) - the sheet is then checked normally.
Multiple / faint bubbles, unreadable roll no. or name, student not found, or duplicate StID. Press "View sheet" to see the OMR sheet and all its details.
Ranks are by total (ties share a rank). StID, Name and Father are matched from the student list and can be edited in the table. Click any other cell in a row to see the annotated sheet (use Prev/Next or the arrow keys to review one by one). “Flagged” = faint or double marks worth a manual look.
Green ring = answer key, solid green = correct, red = wrong, orange box = blank / multiple marked, blue box = bonus question (full marks to everyone), grey = attempted beyond the allowed number (not counted).
